Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or making a booking on Barber Door, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.

2. The service

Barber Door is a marketplace that connects clients with independent professional barbers. We facilitate bookings and process payments but are not the employer of any barber on the platform. Each barber is an independent professional responsible for the quality of their own work.

3. Bookings and payments

• Bookings are confirmed only once payment is successfully processed.
• All prices are in GBP and include VAT where applicable.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Barber Door does not store card details.
• A service fee may be applied to facilitate the platform.

4. Cancellations and refunds

Clients may cancel a booking up to 2 hours before the scheduled appointment for a full refund. Cancellations made within 2 hours of the appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee. Barbers who cancel confirmed bookings may have their account reviewed.

5. User conduct

You agree not to use Barber Door for any unlawful purpose, to provide accurate information during booking, and to treat barbers and other users with respect. Barber Door reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms.

6. Liability

Barber Door is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from services provided by barbers on the platform. We strongly recommend that barbers carry their own professional liability insurance.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
